After a nine-day break from competition, the JV Girl Bombers returned to action Friday night, showing determination and defensive grit against Palmac. The Bombers held their opponent scoreless in the first quarter, showing a good understanding of the defensive strategy, while building an early 8-0 lead. By halftime, the score was tight 8-5, reflecting a hard-fought game on both sides.While our passing and ball control were not at their best, the team made up for it with relentless effort on defense. The Bombers forced numerous turnovers, disrupting Palmac's rhythm and creating opportunities for our offense. Grace led the scoring with 12 points, while Sawyer, Alina, and Emily contributed 6, 4, and 2 points respectively.Saturday morning's practice was filled with energy, smiles, and a strong focus on the areas we know we can improve.
